Silver

Silver has always been a precious metal ever since it was discovered; long ago before it was written down in history. Silver was once thought more precious than gold. It is referred to as the metal of the moon and some believe it has powers over emotions, the psychic mind, love, and healing. Sterling silver jewellery has always been popular as it has a strange ability to adapt to any piece of clothing; and is suitable for all occasions.

Turquoise

In modern gemstone therapy those suffering from depression are recommended to wear a turquoise or a chain with turquoise beads. The turquoise’ cheerful colour is said to endow reticent personalities with more confidence. It is also often given as a gift, a stone of friendship, for the turquoise is said to be responsible for faithfulness and consistency in relationships.

Red Coral

Red coral is the common name given to Corallium rubrum and several related species of marine coral. The distinguishing characteristic of precious corals is their durable and intensely coloured red skeleton, which is used for making jewellery. Coral jewellery has been found in ancient Egyptian and prehistoric European burials and continues to be made to the present day. The Romans believed coral could protect children from harm, as well as cure wounds made by snakes and scorpions and diagnose diseases by changing colour.

Eye of Shiva

The "Eye of Shiva" is the name of the small trap door (operculum) protecting the tropical Turban Shell sea snail from danger. After the sea snail's natural death, its protective door drops off the shell, to become a sought-after treasure, brought up from the sea bed by divers. The exact shape of the spiral is unique from shell to shell. The colour of the spiral varies from beige to deep green, depending on the sea snail's diet, while the background always remains pearly white.
